HamSet DX mic Element (capsule+shell+boom)

HamSet DX Element is a dynamic microphone element developed for SSB and contest operation, with a frequency response optimized to enhance clarity and presence in the mid-high range while keeping low frequencies under control. The result is a clean, intelligible signal that can be easily shaped using the radio’s equalizer.

The microphone element itself is identical in all configurations; only the level of assembly and the included components change.

The product is available in three configurations.

The first option is the microphone element only. This version includes only the HamSet DX dynamic microphone element, with no shell, no boom and no electronic components. It is intended for custom integrations, retrofitting existing booms or home-built projects.

The second option is the HamSet DX Element with shell. The microphone element is pre-installed in its dedicated shell, ready for mechanical mounting on a compatible boom. The boom and any electronic components are not included. This configuration is designed for users who want a mechanically finished solution while retaining full freedom over wiring and electronics.

The third option is the HamSet DX Element fully preassembled boom. This version is supplied as a complete microphone assembly, with the element installed in the shell, a full boom, and an internal decoupling capacitor already wired. It is a ready-to-use solution that requires no technical intervention.

HamSet DX Element is designed for operators who want a direct, readable and consistent audio in real operating conditions, from DX to high-rate contest operation, offering either maximum integration flexibility or a fully assembled, plug-and-play solution.
